Uses
Cleats, also referred to as flights, are used to move product along the conveyor. These are frequently used to move product up an incline. Mol Belting offers a variety of different cleat shapes, construction, and footprint to cover a wide range of applications. Each of these cleat types is optimized for the performance needed - whether it be cleanability, durability, or non-bruising.

ThermoGienic™ Cleats
ThermoGienic™ was coined as a conjunction of thermoplastic and hygienic when we designed the automated process for our footless cleats. Footed cleats have raised edges and surfaces that can be difficult to clean. With the principles of sanitary design in mind, we set out to design a cleat with a smooth surface and limited sharp angles. Mol Belting released our first footless cleat in 1997. In 2001 we added the radius and the ThermoGienic™ Cleat was born.
Our unique fabrication process produces an extremely sanitary end product that is free of inside corners, niches or weld splatter. The cleats are permanently attached to the base belt forming a smooth 1/8" radius around the entire perimeter of the cleat base. This innovative process ensures that your belts will remain easily cleanable to a microbial level. ThermoGienic™ Cleats are part of the Mol Belting advantage as they are sanitary by design.

Custom Solutions
PowerFlight™ Cleats
PowerFlight™ cleats utilize plied fabric to provide additional strength and rigidity. These cleats are great for non-food applications such as recycling and agriculture.
Gusset Reinforced Cleats
Gussets provide additional strength to cleats carrying heavy loads up an incline without compromising minimum pulley diameter or introducing new stress points on the belt.
Loop Cleats
Loop cleats are designed to flex, fold, and yield to the conveyor product to prevent bruising or crushing. These cleats are a great solution for fruits and bread buns.
